NORDFJORDEID (Nordfjord, Norway) 
Day 3 Arr 1130hrs Dep 1300hrs, stay 1.5hrs.
This charming little fjordside village is the traditional home of the Fjording, the sturdy fjord horse. From here there's the chance to visit Europe’s deepest lake, Homindalsvatnet or to journey up to the dazzling Briksdal Glacier with perhaps a scenic overland tour to Olden before re-joining Athena. OLDEN (Nordfjord, Norway) 
Day 3 Arr 1600hrs Dep 1900hrs, stay 3hrs.
This pretty timbered village sits at the end of the innermost arm of the Nordfjord and is your gateway to the Briksdal Glacier, an off-shoot of the Jostedal Glacier – continental Europe’s largest. This is a most scenic fjord and lakes, waterfalls and soaring peaks add to the dramatic landscape.

HELLESYLT (Sunnylvsfjord, Norway) 
Day 4 Arr 0700hrs Dep 0830hrs, stay 1.5hrs.
Standing at the head of the Sunnylvsfjord, a branch of the mighty Storfjord, the old Viking village of Hellesylt is a scenic starting point for a magnificent full day overland tour via Stryn, Tystigen and Mount Dalsnibba to Geiranger, where participants rejoin the ship. GEIRANGER (Geirangerfjord, Norway) 
Day 4 Arr 1000hrs Dep 1600hrs, stay 6hrs.
This pretty village nestles at the tip of perhaps Norway’s most photographed, if not most renowned, fjord. The voyage along the fjord passing such famous waterfalls as De Syv Søstre (The Seven Sisters) is spectacular whilst Geiranger has a charm all of its own.

FLAM (Norway) 
Day 5 Arr 0800hrs Dep 1400hrs, stay 6hrs.
Situated at the head of the Aurlandsfjord, a branch of the mighty Sogne, Flam nestles between high cliffs streaked with waterfalls and is the terminus of the Flåmsbanen the amazing railway line that travels just 12 miles to Myrdal through stunning scenery and a gradient of 1 in 18! Our optional Flam Railway tour is a must.
Cruising Sognefjord en-route to Gudvangen.

GUDVANGEN (Norway) 
Day 5 Arr 1600hrs Dep 2000hrs, stay 4hrs.
This small farming community, dwarfed by spectacular towering mountains, is located on the Naeroyfjord, the narrowest fjord in the world and the call here gives the opportunity to visit Stalheim, a popular spot that offers stunning views over the mountains and the fjord.

BERGEN (Norway) 
Day 6 Arr 0700hrs Dep 1900hrs, stay 12hrs.
The second city of Norway and this delightful old Hanseatic port, with its beautifully restored wooden warehouses, colourful fish and flower market makes a perfect contrast with the high peaks and waterfalls and small village communities of the fjords.
